About Us

Spirit of Excellence Community Outreach Inc. was founded in 2004 when we began developing connections with several agencies. We have a passion for helping people who are disabled, are unable to take care of themselves, or is in need of some form of assistance. We also work with a ministry that helps people—they provide help for foster families and help people find potential job opportunities. Our care center has a love and passion for all people, and is concerned about all of them. This mindset inspired us to start our organization and go in this direction.

We are dependable, reliable and readily available to help people, there is not a set time. We are here at all hours to lead people to other resources throughout the Jacksonville, North Carolina, area. If we are unable to provide the services you need, we provide referrals to other agencies, and get in contact with them to ensure everyone gets the support they need. 

Most agencies are limited to one thing they offer, but we are diverse in our services and what we offer. Our many different services fall under the same umbrella. Through us, you reach different avenues of help. We are always looking for ways to meet the needs of more individuals.

About Spirit of Excellence Community Outreach Inc.

Spirit of Excellence Community Outreach Inc. is an organization that provides several different facets of outreach services to all individuals in the community including those with Intellectual Developmentally Disability, Mental Health, and Substance Abuse diagnosis. Our care center in Jacksonville, North Carolina, assists individuals struggling with: substance abuse, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Prolonged Exposure, and Depression.

Spirit of Excellence Community Outreach, Inc. offers outpatient therapy, substance abuse services, and Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) services with flexible hours and affordable rates.

We train foster parents with the TIPS-MAPP (Trauma Informed Partnering For Safety And Permanence Model Approaches To Partnerships and Parenting that includes First Aid & CPR, and NCI (North Carolina Crisis Intervention) training. All of Foster Parents are licensed in a timely fashion. We are a safe haven for people, which is a positive environment to grow and develop in.

With more than 10 years of experience, our help services has been aiding individuals in the community develop in life. Our personal care service provides assistance at home for children,adults 21 years and older, and expectant mothers that is unable to perform their Activities of Daily Living on their own. We also have an adult day care program which is a class that goes on in the morning that teaches basic life skills, and other skills that improve their quality of living.
